The D-Route 3 has been certified

Ernst Burgbacher, MP, parliamentary secretary of state to the Minister of Economics and Technology and representative of the federal government for small and medium-sized businesses and tourism (right), Jan Mücke, MP, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs (BMVBS) (center right) and DTV Vice President Werner Schlösser (left) accepting the certification document from Ulrich Syberg, Chairman of the Board of the General German Bicycle Association (ADFC) (center left).

At the international tourism show ITB 2012 the ADFC handed over the document certifying the D-Route 3/European Cycle Route as a 3-star cycle route to the project members from the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs (BMVBS), the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) as well as the German tourism association Deutschen Tourismusverband e.V. (DTV).

With the expansion of the cycle path, new quality standards are made in route quality and marketing for the entire cycle network in Germany.
