St. Paul's Cathedral Münster

The stately St. Paul's Cathedral in Münster with its monumental western towers reflects the transition from the Romantic to the  Gothic style. Large parts were built from Baumberg sandstone. The astronomical clock from the late Middle Ages with a calendar that counts all the way to the year 2071 is a true jewel of the cathedral's interior. The cathedral treasury is one of Europe's most significant treasury's and a definite must see. The cathedral square still reveals the borders of the cathedral castle built in the High Middle Ages. On the western border of the square you will find the Episcopal Palace and the Kettelersche Doppelkurie from the early 18th century.
