Weser Hills

The Weser Hills with its gentle hilly landscape and low mountain range is a true paradise for active holidaymakers - regardless of whether you are discovering the region via Weser Cycle Route, D-Route 3 or hiking along one of the many beautiful trails.

The sights in the Weser Hills are strung like pearls on a string. Splendid Renaissance buildings, impressing castles and colorful half-timbered houses, in which one could still imagine fairytale figures such as the Pied Piper of Hameln or Baron Münchhausen to be living today, make this cycle route a very special experience. A cozy cruise along the Weser River or a break at one of the many street cafes and beer garden wonderfully round off the bike-river experience.
